We'd be happy to answer that question with the textbook definition, but if you're Canadian, one is reminded of a television vignette with a similar name that outlined the unique flora and fauna that is Canada. The distinct quality that makes Canadians, Canadian, is something we embrace and what we've always wanted to capture in design.

Who are The Hinterlands
We set out to create a curated, travel experience unlike any other. As owners, we spent a lot of time finding spaces in neighbourhoods we love, designing and outfitting spaces with elements we love, and we think our guests will feel the same. We are two avid travellers, who find unique places to stay in and enjoy authentic experiences. We believe all of our guests share in those values which drive the work we do.
